Request for proposals for Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Sudan – one year contract to cover two locations in Port Sudan

Background

Geneva Call is an international Humanitarian Organization dedicated to protecting civilians in Armed conflict. Geneva Call has been present in Sudan since 2022 registered at the Humanitarian Aid Commission with Country Office in Port Sudan City and two Field offices in Ad-Damazine and El Fasher cities. The purpose of this Request For Proposal is to source a reliable, cost-effective and sustainable internet services for the client’s Port Sudan office and the guesthouse as outlined in the objective and scope of work below;

1.              RFP Objective

a) Provision of internet services for the Geneva Call Office in Port Sudan and the location specified below, with a minimum bandwidth of 20 Mbps. The service must include all labor, installation, and any additional costs associated with completing the entire installation. The service contract will be for a duration of one year, starting from the date of installation and activation of the connection.

b) Provision of internet services to Geneva Call Guesthouse in Port Sudan and the location below. The required internet coverage will be 5 Mbps. The service must include all labor, installation, and any additional costs related to the completion of the entire setup. The service contract will extend for one year, starting from the date of installation and activation of the connection.

1.              RFP Objective

The Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) aims to equip personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate safely and effectively in high-risk or hostile environments. The objectives of this training are to enhance situational awareness, improve decision-making under pressure, and promote personal safety and security. Participants will engage in theoretical, practical exercises and simulations designed to replicate real-world scenarios, ensuring they can respond appropriately to various threats, including kidnappings, and medical emergencies.

This training will be delivered across multiple high-risk countries to ensure localized relevance and context-based learning for participants.
