Geneva Call is seeking a highly experienced media monitoring company to ensure the effective execution and evaluation of our national mass media campaign, with a specific focus on the targeted provinces of Kabul, Jalalabad, Mazar-e-Sharif, Kunduz, Bamiyan, and Kandahar. The selected company must demonstrate proven expertise in media monitoring and report production.

I. History and context of the call for tenders.

In situations of armed conflict, Geneva Call, as a neutral, impartial and independent international humanitarian organization, strives to strengthen the respect of humanitarian norms and principles by armed groups and de facto authorities (AGDAs), in order to improve the protection of civilian populations.

II. Basis, Purpose and Objective

Geneva Call has established its presence in Sudan in 2021 operating in strengthening the respect of humanitarian norms and principles by armed groups and de facto authorities, in order to improve the protection of civilians. To ensure safe and efficient travel in the field for its team members, Geneva Call DRC needs to buy 3 cars for the Sudan mission.

All of the following skills and abilities are required:

a. The supplier must hold an independent position and in particular not be an employee of any government, Geneva Call or a direct partner of Geneva Call, nor at any time employed by these institutions in the last 5 years.

b. The supplier must have proven experience in providing the appropriate elements but also in ensuring potential maintenance of the equipment.

Applicants must submit two separate proposals, namely the financial proposal and the technical proposal no later than August 20, 2024 at 5 p.m.

  2. The time of delivery;
  3. A description of potential maintenance services and warranty period;
  4. Administrative documents (tax number, bank account details, proof of registration, etc.)

About Geneva Call

Geneva Call is a leading international non-governmental humanitarian organisation committed to protecting civilians in armed conflicts through enhancing respect for humanitarian norms and principles by armed groups and de facto authorities. Founded in 2000, Geneva Call is registered as a Foundation under Swiss law and active in 13 countries.

Objectives

To better communicate about its mission and achievements, Geneva Call seeks to set up a framework contract with one or several suppliers (individual contractor or company) able to produce a wide array of high-quality photography and AV outputs upon demand. 

Selected applicants will be qualified as pre-agreed suppliers of the organization within a framework contract of an initial duration of two years. Pre-agreed suppliers will be contracted upon demand for specific mandates, the scope and deliverables of which will be defined on a case-by-case basis.

The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified whistleblowing service providers to implement and manage a comprehensive whistleblowing system for the employees at Geneva Call in all its countries it is represented in. The countries are: Afghanistan, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Colombia, DRC, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Myanmar, Philippines, Sudan, South Sudan, Switzerland, Ukraine.

The selected provider will help ensure the organization’s commitment to transparency, the highest ethical standards observed and in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as accepted best practice.
