RESEARCH


Ann-Kristin “Anki” Sjöberg, Research Coordinator, received her Bachelor and Masters Degrees in European Studies and Languages from Södertörns Högskola in Stockholm, Sweden and has also conducted studies in Spain and Germany. She is a PhD candidate at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, with a focus on engagement processes with NSAs in humanitarian norms and action. As Research Coordinator she coordinated the implementation of a two-year multi-agency research project on NSAs and landmines. Between April 2006 and February 2008 she also held the part-time position as Programme Officer for Colombia. She has published several reports and articles on NSAs as relates to their involvement in the specific humanitarian issue of landmines. She joined Geneva Call in June 2004.
